         Rainfall is a 16-bit, rpg horror game that explores grim themes in a inky black and grey dreamscape, and how little it truly takes to drive someone insane.

         In a surreal Dante's Inferno-esque journey through the brain of a young adult on the cusp of a psychotic break, you play as an unwilling entity representing what might be the last sane part of his mind. Tasked with confronting past trauma and ridding the brain of a virus like infection while encountering the unspeakable horrors lurking in the darkness, aided only by the limited powers of a childhood memory and your intuition, you must prevent what was once a beautiful mind from succumbing to complete darkness...

         Rainfall plays like a traditional top down RPG. The player controls a character that moves around the environment, has an inventory, and can interact with objects and npcs. The bulk of the gameplay is dedicated to avoiding enemies and puzzle solving. Each level of the game is an unique area of the Brain that offers different mechanics and gameplay themes than the other areas.

           The planned release date is December 25th 2022, but is subject to change. Over the next few months updates and Screenshots will be posted but for now (3/27/2022) the game is still being scripted/planned out.
